Eling started her sports career with the then-Singapore Sports Council, organising national sports events like the New Paper Big Walk for up to 10,000 participants. After a short stint in Europe and the US dabbling in hospitality, Eling returned to Singapore to set up a golf business. Following years of combining business with pleasure while travelling through Asia for golf, an exciting new job opportunity brought her to the Middle East. Soon after, the demands of motherhood sidelined her till now, when she has come full circle, back to the sports industry.

As far back as she can remember, Eling has always been on a sports team, having tried her hand at netball, squash, table tennis, track and field, volleyball, and finally finding her niche in softball. She played for the Singapore Recreation Club and went on to don national colours at the 1997 Jakarta SEA Games. These days she gets a workout trying to keep up with her energizer bunny
kids, and delights in sharing her love for travel with them.
